Gary McDougall

Chief Technical Architect

Gary McDougall has nearly 25 years of experience in the Security Systems Industry, including 18 years designing; programming; configuring; administering the Lenel OnGuard Security Management System, and has been Lenel
Master Certified for 13 years.  For 12 years, under contract to the National Aeronautics Space Agency (NASA), Gary
was the Chief Engineer in implementing, administering and maintaining one of the largest Lenel Onguard Enterprise Systems–based on the number of connected Regions and servers– in the world.

Before joining the NASA Team, Gary spent over 20 years as a member of the University of Southern California’s (USC) Department of Public Safety, where he began as a Public Safety Officer, rising to the rank of Lieutenant and eventually becoming their first Information Technology, Director.  During Gary’s tenure at USC he developed, implemented and managed the University’s Assets Protection Program, including intrusion detection, system design specifications and installation standards; and the introduction of Proprietary Central Station Monitoring.

Gary is a certified Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator, and specializes in data importing/exporting using Lenel’s Data Exchange tool and SQL Scripting; and Legacy Access Systems to Lenel OnGuard, and Lenel OnGuard PRO to Enterprise migrations.
